Craft Beer Inspired by Experience—and Our Community

The Limitless Brewing team’s passion for craft beer began long before opening Lenexa’s first brewery. Before getting into the brewing business, we spent a year traveling across the country, visiting breweries, tasting different beer styles, meeting brewers, and blogging about what we learned along the way.

Those experiences shaped how we brew today. At Limitless Brewing, we believe great craft beer starts with curiosity, creativity, and listening to the people who drink it. Our goal is simple: make beer people actually want to drink.

What Makes Limitless Brewing Recipes Different?

Our recipes are built around three things: quality, creativity, and drinkability. We want every beer to be approachable while still offering something interesting for craft beer fans.

As a locally owned brewery in Lenexa, we also enjoy having the flexibility to experiment, try new recipes, and create beers inspired by what our customers are asking for.

A Family-Owned Brewery Built Around Community

When Dave and Emily decided to open Limitless Brewing in Lenexa, Kansas, they knew they wanted to create more than a place to make and serve craft beer. What they had fallen in love with while visiting breweries across the country was the sense of community they found inside them.

“Everywhere you go to a brewery, it’s like the most welcoming place that you can go in a city,” Emily says. “People are open; people are friendly.”

That experience became an important part of the vision for Limitless Brewing, Lenexa’s first brewery.

A Taproom Designed to Bring People Together

Community isn't just part of the Limitless philosophy—it helped shape the taproom itself.

Dave and Emily intentionally filled the Limitless Brewing taproom with community-style tables. Instead of separating everyone into their own spaces, the layout encourages people to sit together, start conversations, meet someone new, and enjoy a cold, locally brewed craft beer.

It’s the kind of welcoming atmosphere they experienced at breweries around the country, and exactly what they wanted to bring home to Lenexa.
